The purpose of this visit

This visit is aiming to bring the voice of Palestinian women to Britain, in order to
* let as many people as possible in Britain learn about the human rights situation in Palestine by hearing about the lives of ordinary people who come from there;
* to promote Britain-Palestine twinning as an effective way of spreading understanding of the Palestinian issue.

SO the visitors will go to places that have existing twinning/ friendship links, and to places that don 't yet, hoping that more and more places across Britain will develop twinning links with Palestine, and that in those places, more and more people will develop a real understanding of the human rights issues that Palestinians face...

SO THAT more and more people across the country will want to do something about it!

The second women's visit organised by the Twinning Network

This is an invitation to all the many of you involved in this visit, whether in Britain or Palestine, to join in writing a blog that will capture some of this year's visit... It is bound to be an extraordinary visit, like last year's - but even more complicated, as there will be five or six groups of women, going all over England from Brighton to Newcastle and Bristol to Cambridge...

If you want to become an author of this blog please get in touch.

And for further info on the progress of the visit at any point get in touch with visits@camdenabudis.net
